Centennial Parade
Centennial Parade Excitement Builds! Cheer Them On!
Amp up your energy and make some noise whether you step out in the procession or cheer from the sidelines. Brea's Centennial Parade marches down Birch Street to the Sports Park on Saturday, May 20, at 9:00 a.m. Bring your friends and celebrate!

Brea is 100 years proud and so it's time to celebrate all the wonderful people who share the success of this town. The Centennial Parade is a perfect outlet for lively, upbeat expressions of hometown friendship and pride!

On Saturday, May 20, at 9:00 a.m. the Centennial Parade begins at Birch Street and Associated Road and heads east to Voyager, across from the Brea Sports Park. Beckman Coulter will host public parking at their lot on the southeast corner of Kraemer Boulevard and Birch. (Enter from Imperial Highway on the south as other area streets will be closed that morning.)

Expect to have fun during the parade! Surprises are likely along with the energy of local youth and sports groups, musicians, antique automobiles and international performers. Greet special guests that will include actress Andrea Barber from the Full House and Fuller House television shows along with Brea's professional baseball legends, Randy Jones and Charlie Hough as grand marshals for the parade.

Other highlights include the USC Trojan Marching Band turning up the volume with festive sounds during their parade segment. More crowd favorites will surely be the 501st Legion/Southern California Garrison Star Wars Re-enactment Group and the Wells Fargo Stagecoach with its sleek horses. There will also be a Veterans Motorcycle brigade, high school sports stars including the Ladycats, and of course, representation from the Brea police and fire departments as well as neighborhood CERT teams.

Take a few minutes to plan for a successful day with us. Don't forget to bring along chairs and settle in to cheer on many of the fine local organizations that make Brea such a special place for all to enjoy!
